LARA SHOTS.COM: How to Beat Boaz

~~~Beat Boaz in 4 minutes or less~~~

Let me start by giving you 4 basic tips about the fight strategy:

* Shooting Boaz in the face causes the side pods to open and shoot green goo at Kurtis...(This is what    you want to happen).

* While Boaz's side-pods are open and "spitting" green goo, she is vulnerable, and won't charge at him.

* The SQUARE button on the controller, NOT the "triangle" (as the manual incorrectly states), changes     targets.

* You can only change targets AFTER Kurtis has aimed, and WHILE he is already shooting.

* Most importantly, SAVE YOUR GAME after you've disabled each pod, and if possible, save in a new    slot! This way, you'll save yourself from having to replay the entire level if Kurtis dies.

Here's what I did:

1. I made Kurtis immediately draw his gun, and I let Boaz charge (without moving Kurtis), until he aimed     at her.

2. As soon as Kurtis aimed at her, I made him shoot her in the face--- (sounds kinda sick, I know. LOL!)

3. Now, here's the thing: Boaz will be very close to Kurtis at this point. When he shoots her in the face,     you'll see a couple of green spurts spew from her, and she will swipe at him with her front claw. Keep     an eye out for this.

4. I avoided the claw by pushing the analog stick in the direction of the side that will start "spewing"     green stuff. (Right after he shoots her in the face, two of her pods (on the side) will begin spitting     more of that green goo.---This is actually a good thing).

5. Get Kurtis around to the side that has open pods spewing the goo. He'll automatically aim, and     shoot. To make sure that both pods on the side were getting their "fair share", I TAPPED,     not PRESSED, the "square" button. This makes Kurtis change his aim from one pod to the other. I     tapped it several times, until the pods closed.

6. When the pods close, Kurtis will need to shoot her in the face again, in order to make them open     back up. Once they do, go back around and shoot them. After doing this 2 times for one side, the     pods became inactive. In order to destroy the other 2 pods, Kurtis will have to shoot at Boaz's face     again, since this is what makes them open up.

I assure you, using this "strategy" enabled me to beat Boaz in 4 minutes or less-----most of the times, it takes me 3 minutes. So, get back to the game, and
GO KICK SOME BOAZ BUTT!
